Applying for a job internationally is a particular challenge. Not only do you need to demonstrate top notch English language skills and present yourself convincingly but you also have to adapt your application appropriately to a culture which differs from the German in its focal points, expectations and communicative strategies. Your application materials need to be not only translated but adjusted to the specific culture and professional context.

We offer our support for the following services:

Translation of a German Arbeitszeugnis in an English letter of reference or letter of recommendation: €115

Our translators can help you decide whether your Arbeitszeugnis should be translated as a letter of reference or a letter of recommendation depending on whether you require it for future job applications or for a specific position. We offer both services: for translations of documents up to 4,000 characters (including spaces) for a standard fee of €115 and for documents between 4,000 and 7,000 characters (including spaces) for a standard fee of €145. For any documents exceeding 7,000 characters we will be happy to provide you with a non-binding offer.

Creating an English letter of reference or letter of recommendation

We will also work with you in creating a letter (without a pre-existing German Zeugnis) on the basis of an evaluation form for a standard fee of €174.

The average processing time for our translation services is 5 business days. An Express Service within 48 hours is available for an additional fee.
